Slovak paradise national park is situated in the east part of Slovakia in region called Spis. National park is famous mostly for waterfalls, thin canyons, caves, clear water and fallen trees.
One of the most beautiful is canyon Velky Sokol. We start the hiking from place called Pila-Piecky, where we parked car. We paid 5 euro for two persons and one car. You can come here from Hrabusice village or from Dobsinska ice cave by very thin road.
We followed green tourist hiking signs till we reach the yellow ones. Than we followed yellow till end of valley. The most beautiful part is at the end.
Do not forget waterproof shoes as you will need to cross the river many times from one side to another by stones or wet trees.
On the way back is necessary to follow red signs, but there is nothing interesting.
