Outdoor museum of Slovak village Pribylina is situated in north part of Slovakia. Close to Vysoke Tatry (High Tatra) mountains. We recommend the visit as relax after hiking.
Outdoor museum represents the traditional Slovak village with rights of small city in medieval times. The museum consists of small wooden houses used for living, working, handcraft houses, but also two very rare stone buildings. The first one is gothic-renaissance chateau which represents yeomanry house from 14. to 16. century. The second is church of Saint Mary with rare wall frescos from 14. and 15. century. In the museum area is situated as well the historical forest railway.
