Topolcianky village – Manor house and Stud farm
The village has been firstly mentioned officially in 1293.
The most important monuments are Classicistic manor house and castle with huge park and National stud farm right to the park.
Important families who owned the manor house were Keglevich, Habsburg and later on it was summerhouse for presidents.
In the manor house s situated hotel and museum. It is furnished with furniture from 16. up to 19. Century. The library has approximately 14 000 books. And also one of the biggest pottery collections in Slovakia is situated in museum.

National stud farm in Topolcianky belongs to important stud farms in world and it is our cultural heritage.
It is the center of breeding horses in Slovakia. The most important breeds are Lipican, Hucul and Arab.
Tourist season is from 01.05. do 31.10 but it is possible to manage visit also in other days, but must be agreed in advance.
National stud farm in Topolcianky offers a huge variety of service. E.g. visit of hippodrome for 2,5 Eur, showcase of breed horses for 13 Eur, visit of breed exposition, breeding objects, ride with carriage and pair for 50 Eur (45 min across the city and park) and many other possibilities.
